LOUIS QUEVEDO

8-19-1939 TO 12-16-2021

Louis Quevedo age 82 of Menifee CA passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021, at home with his family.

Louis was born on August 19, 1939, to Chon and Tomasa Quevedo in Dallas, TX.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy to begin his long 30-year naval career. 

On December 21, 1991, Louis and Mary Govern Brown were married.  He was a loving and caring husband and father.

Louis was a “Jack of All Trades”, loved building things, an avid reader, wrote a book of poems and never met a stranger.

Louis was predeceased by his parents and sister.  He is survived by his wife Mary; his brother Chon (Lu) Quevedo;  five half brothers and sisters Phoebe (Al) Villarreal, Albert (Pat) Flores, Mario (Gloria) Quevedo, Garcia T. Quevedo, Rachel (Robert) Arista; his three children, Louis Jr. (Heather) Quevedo, Laura (Eddie) Lyons and Joseph Quevedo;  his two step-children, Tina (Jon) Mossbarger and Jon (Michelle) Brown; thirteen grandchildren Julia (Tim), Ben, Isabel, Jacob, Jaqueline and Audrey, Jonathan (Elise) Aaron, Jordan, Justin and Brody, Seth (Marisa) and Cole; and seven great grandchildren,  McKinley, Sophia, Howard, Logan, Kol, JT and Savannah.
