Louise Diane Buttigieg
Louise sadly left our lives on September 3rd, 2020 in Menifee, CA. Louise was dearly loved and
will be missed by her husband, children, family and friends. She will be remembered as a
strong, loving and independent woman.
Being a devout Catholic, Louise is at peace with God in Heaven.
Louise was born on May 17th, 1934 in San Francisco, CA to Anthony and Esther DeVincenci. She
was the eldest of four children, which included James DeVincenzi (deceased), Lorraine Clyne of
San Mateo, CA and Susan Sparks of Sonoma, CA.
Louise married Robert (Bob) Buttigieg on December 17th, 1955 in San Francisco, CA at the
Church of St. Paul of the Shipwreck.
Louise was the loving mother to Lillian Blaine (San Bruno, CA), Richard Buttigieg (Lexington
Park, MD), Rob Buttigieg (Parma, ID) and Leslie Buttigieg (Woodland Hills, CA). She was the
proud grandmother (Nonni) of Michael (deceased), Toran (deceased), Ryane, Keagan, Jason and
Sarah Buttigieg
Louise & Bob raised their family and lived in San Bruno before moving to Southern California in
1992, eventually settling in Menifee, CA where they lived for the past 20 years.
Louise worked as a bank teller with Bank of America for many years before transitioning to a
position at the Department of Defense from which she eventually retired in 2000.
After retirement Louise found her passion in volunteering in the gift shop of the Menifee Valley
Medical Center. During her 11 years of service, she received many volunteer awards for her
gracious work.
Louise enjoyed spending time with her friends, going to the movies and shopping for that
umpteenth purse, of which there are too may to count. She also had a love of eagles and cats,
which she surrounded herself with throughout her life.
Louise will be remembered & missed forever and will stay within the hearts of her family and
friends.
Services will be held at the Evans-Brown Mortuary on Monday, October 26th, 2020 at 12:30pm.
Thank you to all of Louise and Bob’s friends and family for their love, kindness and support.
