Mack Earl Lewis

Mack Earl Lewis was born on May 14, 1947 in Waxahachie, Texas. He was one of eleven children born to Woodrow and Sally Lewis. He passed away at the age of 71, at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Murrieta, California on Friday October 19, 2018.

Mack married Earlene Thomas on November 16, 1980. Even though Mack and Earlene divorced in the mid-2000’s , they had 5 beautiful children:  they were blessed with Omond Mack Lewis  (May 14, 1980), Teresa (Lewis) Brown  (March 30, 1983), Latoya (Lewis) McCoy (June 23, 1984), Demond Earl Lewis (August 8, 1986) and Devon Ray Lewis (February 5, 1988).

During his lifetime Mack lived in Perris, California. Mack enjoyed Art; drawing, painting, and sketching. He also liked to play Chess and was an avid Pinochle player. Mack was a quiet, humble man, but when he did speak he was fair. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with love ones, playing cards and hanging out. Mack will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.  

Mack is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Sally Lewis; two brothers Herbert Lewis and Woodrow Lewis Jr.; and a sister Carolyn (Lewis) Davidson. He leaves behind his children Omond Mack Lewis, Teresa (Lewis) Brown, Latoya (Lewis) McCoy, Demond Earl Lewis and Devon Ray Lewis; grandchildren Shatoya McCoy (age 14), Aris Lewis (age 11), Nyah Brown (age 11), Ziye McCoy (age 10), Nala Brown (age 9) and Nikki Brown (age 4); a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
