Marcos A. Monge

Marcos A. Monge, 69, passed away on July 20, 2021 in Murrieta, California. He was born on April 19, 1952 in Agua Prieta Sonora, Mexico to his late parents Antonio Monge and Refugio Acuna Monge. 

Marcos graduated from Central Union High School in El Centro, CA. He attended Imperial Valley College, earning his Associates of Science degree. He worked for California Department of Transportation Services (Caltrans) for 31 years until his retirement in 2009. He lived in Brawley, CA and then moved to Menifee, CA in July of 2018, where he spent the remainder of his years enjoying his retirement with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his siblings Enrique, Antonio and Rose. Marcos is survived by his loving wife of forty six years Estela Monge, his son; Ricky Monge and his wife Patty, his daughter; Ceci Whiteman, his siblings; Maria, Saul, David, Dora, Susie, and five wonderful grandchildren. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather who will be truly missed.
