Martin Gittleman

Marty left behind his wife, children and grandchildren Tuesday January 22, 2019 in his sleep. He suffered a long battle with Cancer and Alzheimer's disease which eventually claimed his life . His funny sense of humor and easy going personality left an impression on all who knew him. He served his country and family well with 4 years in the Army and 25 years working as a New York Firefighter. Marty loved fishing, playing poker, Chinese food, chocolate covered cherries, ice cream and the color blue but most of all he loved his family. He will be deeply missed, and never forgotten. He will continue to live in our hearts forever. Until we meet again Marty, Rest in Peace, We love you!  XOXOX
