Mary Brandman

On Friday morning the 29th of November 2019, Mary Joyce Brandman passed away.

Mary was born in Royal Oaks, Michigan on November 3rd, 1934 to her parnets Walter and Winifred Wilson. She was 1 of 2 children, she has a sister Carol and her husband Gary Tavis. Mary also has 5 newphews and nieces- Vince, Peter, Susan, Julie and Jenny.

Mary had 5 children, who she loved and adored, Debbie, Lori, Robbie and was preceeded in death by 2 of her children, a daughter Kathy and a son David. Mary had 10 grandchildren (Rachel, Sasha, Jeffrey, Jessica, Benny, Ryan, Michael, Brandon, Jake and Lynette). She also has 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, whom she loved and adored. For many years, Mary was a foster mom to many children who she always spoke of with love and devotion, and said she really cherished and missed that time in her life.

Mary lived in the Palm Springs area for many years, where she worked in the banking and financial business. She also studied nursing at Mount Sac. College. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading, and she was a “wiz” at Trivia Pursuit. Over the years she had many animals that she loved and adored.

Mary had a true kindness and generosity for everyone, and will be missed greatly by her family and those who know her.
