Mary Kathleen Clough
Mary Kathleen Bazan was born Nov. 14, 1930 in Ashland Kentucky.
Her Dad, Norbert, was a leather goods salesman, and her mother, Mary was a stay-at-home Mom. Her parents traveled a bit before settling in Burbank CA, when Mary K. was in her early teens.
She had 1 younger sister, Barbara who proceeded her in death.
Mary is survived by her husband, Lloyd, her daughter, Nancy Lynn Potter of Cathedral City, CA, two grandchildren, Mark Robert Parlin of Rogers Arkansas and Alexandria Nicole Oliver currently of Taylorsville, Utah.
She also has two great grandsons, Bryant and Bryce Parlin, also of Rogers Arkansas.
Mary graduated from Burbank high school in 1948, met Lloyd that year and was married in 1951.
They followed Lloyd to Texas for about a year as Lloyd was in the Air Force. After that, a couple of years were spent in Alaska where he was stationed.
Following their military journey, the Clough’s moved to Culver City, then to their first home in Sun Valley.
While in Culver City Nancy was born. In 1959 the family moved to Anaheim where their son, Lawrence Stephen Clough was born. Sadly, Larry passed away in 2003.
Mary worked a couple of part time jobs as the children were growing up but made the best home kids could ever want as a full-time homemaker.
Mary and Lloyd moved to Murrieta, CA in 1989 where she remained active in the Temecula Valley Elks #2801 until her health prevented.
Mary was received into the hands of our Lord on Sunday morning October 27th. There will be a short graveside service, Tuesday, November 12 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Huntington Beach, CA
