Tribute

My mom was the roots to my tree, I know she loved me unconditionally and she loved her friends and family freely with all her heart.

It gives me great comfort to know my mom was loved back by so many.

Her husband Ron – loved her all with all his heart.  They called each other “The love of my life”.  They were soul mates.  She was his North Star, she believed in the stars as she was a Sagittarius.

Her cat Yoda has been walking the house looking for his mom.  She chose him from his litter because he was tiny and loved his colors.

My mom was loved by many for her vivacious personality.  She loved a good party with dancing, people and good Indonesian food.  She always had the best parties.

Some of the things I will miss about by mom were her beautiful green eyes with gold flecks, her freckles (which I am proud to say I inherited a few or more), her soft skin she always made sure to “lotion-up”, her long beautiful nails (which I too inherited).

My mom was an excellent a cook!  I will miss my mom’s cooking, I often bartered with her = I gave her AVON and she would make my favorite dishes.  I will miss my talks with her about the latest “gossip”.  I will miss discussing our favorite TV shows (always mysteries or science fiction).  We also enjoyed talking about mystery books we read or should read.  I will miss the sharing we did about everything or nothing.  I will miss being able to hug her and saying “I love you”.

My mom loved cruising!  She went on at least 25 of them. Holland America was her favorite cruise line.  She loved her animal prints (I’m wearing a shirt in her honor – I know she’d love it)  She loved her garden and fruit trees and would sit outside at night and just enjoy the smell of the garden after a good watering.

My mom’s FUN spirit and laughter will be missed.  I know my mom is in heaven with her mom & dad and friends & other family members.  She is with GOD, she was a believer and prayed every night.  Mom is looking down at us and saying “I told you, I didn’t want you to make a fuss about me when I am gone”.  Sorry Mom, but I just couldn’t let you go without just one more gathering and small party with good Indo food!

I am so glad to have had 56 years with her.  I LOVE you Mom and will miss you every day….
