Nancy Ann Bowers was born in Los Angeles, California on November 20th, 1959. She will be remembered as a caring mother, loving friend and proud Nana.
Nancy is survived by her daughters Teri (Joe), Kristi (Zac), granddaughter Zoey, father Stuart, mother Shirlee, sister Cindy (Russell) and brother Bob.
Her kindness and generosity was contagious, she was always there for anyone who needed her help. She loved spending time with family, friends and her dogs and would travel anywhere with anyone. She was known for her fantastic cooking, spicy beef jerky, crafty woodwork and would never let anyone leave her house without a bag of fruits or veggies from her garden. She had a passion for reading books, with plenty to choose from in her library at home. Every year she would attend Spring Training for the Angels in Tempe, AZ and would come back with signed baseballs from all the players. She swore Torii Hunter called her "The Bomb" one time. She would always make care packages for her kids and friends when they went on vacations. One time she even made sandwiches in the shape of armadillos because they were her daughter's favorite animal.
Nancy snuck a rubber ducky in her daughter's suitcase when she moved out of the house and thought it was so funny. Since then, her and her daughters have been passing the ducky around and hiding it in inconspicuous places at each other's houses and took great pleasure when it was found. Nancy also loved making clip art posters and personalized cards to celebrate special occasions. If you were lucky enough to get one of these, then you know just how special Nancy was.
She married the love of her life, Wayne, in 1982 and is now with him once again.
