Tribute

Nancy Edna Davis

She was born on August 3, 1935, and was the only daughter to her parents, Ralph & Edna Reich. She had an older brother, Gerald, who was 13 years her senior. They had a little dog, Teddy that they loved to play with. She also had a duck for a while as well!

Nancy grew up and eventually joined the Navy and was trained as a Corp Nurse. While in the Navy, she was introduced to her wonderful husband, Ray Davis. They were married September 1, 1956, and were married for 63 years. She served 2 years in the Navy. They then started their family, and boy, did that family tree grow. They had 3 children, Karen, Ray Jr., and Richard.

Nancy eventually went to College and began the Nursing Program and because of her training in the Navy, was able to challenge the Boards to be Certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, or LVN. She worked for many years and kept up on all the latest Medical information.

She was an artist when it came to sewing. She made anything from personalized toy dolls, to wedding dresses, Western wear for her husband, and clothing for her children.

Nancy was also an avid reader, reading over a thousand books during her lifetime. She also liked to cook and collect recipes, and we all loved to eat what she cooked!

Nancy is survived by her husband, Ray Sr., daughter Karen & her husband Edd, and children, Kyle, Trevor & Ashley. Ray Jr, and his children, Jason & Kerri, & Richard & wife Pamela, and their children, Adam, Brian, and Sarah. The family tree did not stop growing there, she is also survived by her 21 great-grandchildren.

She lived her life to the fullest and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all the love she had! She was so proud of all of them!
