Nathalie Griswold Bradley

Nathalie Claiborne Griswold Bradley (formerly MacElwee) was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 21, 1936 and passed away in Temecula, California on July 7, 2017.  She is survived by her three children Scott MacElwee, Lisa MacElwee-Todd, & Linda MacElwee; 4 grandchildren Ian, Graham, Katherine, & John; 2 nieces & a nephew Dana, Lynn, & Tim; and her second family, the Bradleys.

Nathalie was a very athletic person.  She was an avid horseback rider, golfer, and tennis player.  She was a very active member of Glenhardie Country Club located in Valley Forge, PA.   She held the position of President and held various positions on the board over a period of several decades.  She was also the editor of their monthly Newsletter ‘Drumbeats’ for many years. In her retirement, she also donated her time to helping special-needs children through the horseback riding program at Melmark.  Nathalie was a very happy woman and enjoyed life.  She loved to take long walks, read, dance, sing, and laugh until she cried.  She loved nature, and to watch a full moon rise and take in spectacular sunsets, especially those in Tucson where she vacationed often with her family.
