Neil Mc Allister Stewart

Neil McAllister Stewart, 69, of Menifee California, passed away Wednesday September 12, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. A celebration of his life service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday September 20th at Hope Lutheran Church, 2882 Arlington dr. Riverside California. Reverend Kelly will be officiating. His remains will be cremated and placed at Riverside National Cemetery in a private ceremony. 

Neil was born on the 23rd of October 1948 to Richard and Mary Jean Stewart. He faithfully served his country in Vietnam from 1968 to October of 1970 and received numerous commendations including two Purple Hearts. With a degree from Cal State Fullerton he entered the world of finance and helped start and manage numerous Oil companies in Houston Texas. In 1988 he returned to Corona, California and raised his children. 

Neil is survived by his wife Clare Stewart , Son’s Scott and Shawn Stewart, his daughter Heather Stewart: his three Grandchildren Meaghan, Taylor and Brooke Stewart: his Mother Mary Jean Stewart Smith and his two sisters: Linda Gardner and Bonnie Baird as well as several nieces and nephews.
