Paul Francis Benevides

October 10, 1943 ~ January 8, 2021 (age 77)

Our Dad, Paul Francis Benevides will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

Not only was our dad a loving Father and Grandfather, but a loyal friend to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.

Dad was a man of integrity and an extensive spectrum of wisdom who always went out of his way to help others in need of any particular advice. Dad had an inherent ability to listen, to absorb and to offer a point-of-view based on quiet, measured knowledge or offered a simple gesture to reassure anyone that everything will be okay as this too shall pass.

Dad's love was unconditional and this is something we will cherish from his character. Dad always accepted everyone with open arms and his kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dad’s kindness and generosity was not always spoken by words, but actions. Many of you had the enjoyment of attending one of his great celebrations at his home where we shared tons of laughter, bottomless drinks, an exorbitant amount of food and a multitude of memories to last a lifetime.

To say I loved my dad would be an understatement and to say we are going to miss him would be an even greater understatement. Even until his last woken day on Earth, our Dad still went out of his way to keep us all calm and comforted us knowing that everything was fine and he was at peace and proud of who we are.

Thank you, Dad, for being the most incredible father we could have ever wanted. Thank you for making us want to make the world a better place and for showing us a path to do so. Thank you for reassuring us that we were loved every day of our lives. We know you felt all of us by your bedside, holding your hand in peace and comfort until you passed to the other side. We know you felt our deepest love and we know we felt your peace at last. Until we meet again. We will always love you and miss you Dad.
