Personna Mae Fajardo, known fondly as Personna to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024, in Murrieta, California, at the age of 73. Born on August 13, 1950, in Ohio, Personna's zest for life and vibrant spirit touched everyone she encountered.
With a flair for style and a love for all things elegant, Personna was a true fashionista at heart. Her impeccable taste was evident not only in her wardrobe, where everything had to match perfectly, but also in her home design, which reflected her sophisticated and coordinated aesthetic. She possessed a bold confidence and a keen eye for detail, which made her the go-to person for fashion advice among her circle. She knew instantly what she liked and was always honest, never hesitating to express her opinion with her characteristic charm and wit.
Personna's love extended beyond the realm of fashion and into the kitchen, where she was known as a great cook. Her culinary skills were a means of bringing people together, and her dishes were often the centerpiece of family gatherings. She also loved the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas, she loved the lights and all the action you would capture in Vegas! She was also a huge fan of "General Hospital", which she watched for over 50 years!
Beyond her interests, Personna's personality was a beacon of joy. She was loving, funny, and adventurous, always ready to inject humor into any situation. Her infectious laughter and sense of humor were a source of comfort and happiness for her friends and family. She lived by the motto, "When does the fun start?" — a phrase that encapsulated her approach to life and her ability to find joy in every moment.
Personna was an avid dog lover, especially "her babies", her three German Shepherds, Honey, Shadow and Paris, they were as big as horses and she loved them dearly. They were a constant source of companionship and delight. She also relished long conversations on the phone with friends and family, where her vivacious personality shone through, even from a distance.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her sister and best friend, Connie Tapia; her children, Danio Fajardo Jr. and Nicole Fajardo; and her cherished grandchildren, especially Tori, who shared her same birth month and would always call her “My Tori”, who will continue to carry her spirit forward. She was also very close to her nephew “Don Don” as she fondly called him.
In the words of renowned author Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Personna Mae Fajardo was a testament to this truth, as the feelings of love and joy she inspired in others will remain a lasting memory for all who knew her.
