Phyllis Jean Staley, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, in Murrieta, California. Born on May 30, 1928, in Atlantic, Iowa, Phyllis lived a life filled with love, kindness, and thoughtfulness, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories for her family and friends.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 80 years, Raymond Joseph Staley, her children, Stephen Staley, Sharon Staley, and Shelly Evans, her nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Her loving spirit and unwavering support for her family will be greatly missed but will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Throughout her life, Phyllis was a dedicated homemaker, creating a warm and inviting home for her family. She took pride in her role as a wife and mother, always ensuring that her loved ones were well taken care of and felt loved. Her homemaking skills were unmatched, and she often showcased her talents by hosting family gatherings and holiday celebrations.

Phyllis had a passion for crafts, sewing, and making floral arrangements, which she used to brighten the lives of those around her. Her creativity and attention to detail were evident in everything she made, from handmade clothing for her children and grandchildren to beautiful centerpieces for special occasions. Her love for crafting and sewing also extended to her involvement in various community organizations and events, where she shared her skills and knowledge with others.

A celebration of Phyllis's life will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 2pm at Evans-Brown Mortuary 27010 Encanto Dr, Menifee, Ca 92585, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share stories of the love and joy she brought to their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Phyllis's name to a charity of your choice.

Phyllis Jean Staley will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on through the love and kindness she shared with others. May she rest in peace, knowing that her life was filled with love, and her memory will be cherished forever.
