Ray Beryl Davis Sr.

Ray Beryl Davis Sr, 90, of Perris, California, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM at Evans-Brown Mortuaries, 27010 Encanto Drive, Menifee, CA 92585.  Pastor Kyle Vaughn of Calvary Chapel Winston-Salem, North Carolina will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Riverside National Cemetery at promptly at l PM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Evans-Brown Mortuaries.

Ray was born in November 7, 1932 along with his twin brother James Earl Davis. He is a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, stationed on the USS Leonard F. Mason, a Gearing-class destroyer in the United States Navy.

Ray was married to Nancy Edna Reich on September 1, 1956; they were married 63 years before her passing in 2019.

Ray worked as a Truck Driver for Dick G. Evans Transportation, Inc., for 25 years and logged 3 Million Safe Driving Miles with them before retiring in 2003.

Ray is survived by his children, Karen (Davis) Vaughn and Richard Davis; grandchildren, Jason Davis, Kerri (Davis) Brady, Kyle Vaughn, Trevor Vaughn, Ashley (Vaughn) Abrams, Adam Davis, Brian Davis, and Sarah Davis and 20 great-grandchildren, and other extended family and friends.

Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Davis, his son, Ray Davis Jr, and his twin brother, James E. Davis.
