Dr. Robert E. Meyer, JR.

 He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and relocated with his parents to So. CA as a child. He began working for Kaiser Permanente Fontana in the early 70’s, and retired to Hawaii with his family in 2001. His heart for helping others led him to begin work at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii until retiring in 2018. As a devoted member of the Gideons for 30 years, he served with passion.  He was loved by many, many people. His kindness and compassion touched so many from California to Hawaii and through many volunteer medical mission trips such as Samoa, China, Africa, Honduras and more. He will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Survived by: Amisa Meyer(wife); Daughters: Lisa Angles(Miguel); Traci Acunzo(John); Elizabeth Sheard(Ben)  Sons: Steven Daniel(Casey); Quade Story(Irish)   SIX grandchildren, FOUR siblings, Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunt.
