Robert Reinen

Robert Arthur Reinen, 69, of Murrieta, passed away on October 1st, 2018 in Murrieta.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Robert’s honor on October 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Magnolia Church, 8351 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A reception for family and friends will follow in the Mag Room.

Robert will forever be cherished in the lives of his best friend and loving wife of 48 years, Audrey Reinen; three daughters, Sandy Patterson, DeeDee Williams, and Carrie Washburn; two sons-in-law, Tony Patterson and Kevin Washburn; seven grandchildren, Toni Sutka, Billy Patterson, Jaylene Fritz-Patterson, Mackenzie Williams, Spencer Williams, Garret Washburn, and Jacob Washburn; and three great grandchildren, Addison Sutka, Tobi Molla, and Konner Wilson.

Robert was born in Freeport, New York on October 9th, 1948 to Arthur and Diane Reinen. He went to Farmingdale High School. He proudly served in the United States Coastguard from 1966 to 1968 and he served in the United States Navy from 1968-1978. He married Audrey Worley, on January 3rd, 1970 in Chesapeake, Virginia. Following his military service, he graduated from West Coast University and worked as a Senior Scientist at Raytheon Company, formerly Hughes Aircraft Company, for more than 30 years. Robert’s entire military and professional career was dedicated to serving and defending his country. He also served as a deacon at Magnolia Church in Riverside for many years. He was a loving husband, caring father, and faithful Christian who loved the Lord and his family deeply.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Magnolia Church Benevolence Fund, which was dear to Robert’s heart, and is used to help those in need in the Riverside area.
