Roger T. Meadows passed away on December 25, 2018, with family members by his side. He was born on September 17, 1937, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Luther and Lena (Loyd) Meadows. His family moved to Romoland in 1954, and he graduated from Perris High School in 1956. He began working at Rohr Industries in Riverside that same year.

On June 14, 1957, Roger married Marilyn Kay Ashley and together they raised a family in the Romoland area, then moved to Hemet in 1995. Roger was proud to serve the community as a volunteer fire-fighter in Sun City and Homeland for 15 years, and also served as a member of the Hemet City Council from 1998 to 2006, including one year as mayor in 2002.

Roger is survived by his devoted and loving wife Marilyn Kay, son Terry and his wife Kathy, son Timothy and his wife Tamela, son Greg, and daughter Tina and her husband Michael Canon. He also adored his 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
