On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, Samuel Silva, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away in his home.

Sam was born in San Diego, CA to Arnold and Betty.  He joined the United States Air Force at the age of 18 and went on to become an EOD Master Sergeant; as special forces EOD he protected his family and his country for 21 years.  He is survived by his wife, Alice; daughter Kristine; son-in-law, Eduardo; grandson, Cristian; four brothers, Daniel, Billy, Steven, Joseph; and father, Arnold.

He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate heart.  He had a great love for his family and always wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of.  He loved life and always insisted we take time to appreciate each other.  Your footsteps can never be filled, nor your love ever forgotten.  You will be dearly missed.
