Sandra Joella King

Sandra Joella King was born in Santa Ana, California on February 20, 1951 to Omer and Katherleen King. She was the second of three children.

As a youth Sandra attended Santa Ana First AME church which was founded by her late grandmother Robbie Adams.

Sandra met James T. Wilson in the mid 60’s and later they were united in holy matrimony. To this union they shared two daughters Lisa and Manya.

She was educated in the Compton and Carson Public School System. After halting her education Sandra eventually returned to school. In the early 70’s she attended Cypress College, Berkeley University and Biola University.

Sandra worked as a Mortician for over 25 years until retiring in 2007.

Sandra joins her parents, brothers David, and Rene in the afterlife. She greatly loved her childhood friends who were more like sisters: Wanda, Debbie, and Connie.

Sandra passed on Mother’s Day Sunday May 12, 2019 and leaves to cherish her memory: her daughters; Lisa and Manya, son-in-law; Eddie,  grandchildren; William, Erica, and Brianna, great grandchildren; Cameron and Zayden, nephew; Devone, nieces Dion and Porsha and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
