Stephen Paul Greenwood

Stephen Paul Greenwood of Menifee, CA lost his battle with brain cancer on February 27, 2020. Steve was born in Duluth, MN on August 28, 1946. He graduated from Duluth Cathedral High School in 1964. He graduated from the University of MN – Duluth in 1968 and earned a teaching degree. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1969 and served until 1973. He was employed with Exxon Corporation until he began working for the Federal Government in 1988 and retired in 2012. While employed by the Federal Government he attended night school and earned a law degree.

Steve enjoyed golf and reading, especially books about history.

Steve is proceeded in death by his parents Harry and Elizabeth Greenwood, and brother Bradley Greenwood. He is survived by his wife Claudia, brother Doug (Lynda) Greenwood, sister Debbie (Jim) Greenwood. Children Adam P. Greenwood, Oliver A. (Ann) Greenwood and daughter Magenta Greenwood. Step-son Michael (Tami) Halliday.

Grandchildren Olivia, Augustus and Alexander Greenwood, Ashley Halliday, and several nieces and nephews.

His interment will be in the National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
