Sylvia Kathleen Griffith

Sylvia Kathleen Griffith was born in Syracuse, New York on June 19, 1926 and passed away in Murrieta, California on November 21, 2017. Sylvia was married to Oliver Edward Griffith on July 17, 1948. Sylvia’s devotion to Oliver, strong work ethic and laughter greatly contributed to the success of their 60 year marriage. Sylvia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rich & Lois Griffith; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Newmiller.

Sylvia worked as a ticketing agent/coordinator for Amtrac Railroad for 30 years. Her hobbies included cross word puzzles, crocheting, cross-stitch, and other needle crafts. Sylvia was a very generous and fun person, and was frequently the life of the party. She dearly loved her family and friends. Sylvia will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
