Theresa Guajardo

Theresa Guajardo was born in Los Angeles, California on February 28, 1941 to her loving parents Tony and Margaret Gonzales. She attended Redondo High School in Redondo Beach, California. In 1956, she met and married the love of her life Loreto Guajardo and together they were blessed with six children Loreto Jr., Gloria, Loretta, Larry, Joe and Nita. She dedicated 17 years in helping others as a Nurse’s Aide at the Pioneer Hospital in Artesia, California. She loved people and everyone who knew her loved her very much. Theresa had a very free adventurous spirit, she loved to travel. She set out with her husband and best friend Loreto by her side to go RV-ing to see and visit many places across the states. Her family was everything to her; there was no greater love than the love she gave to her family. In her last years she spent her time at home with her fur children “Precious” and “Lucy” whom she cared for as her babies. On Friday April 14, 2017 her loving heart came to rest, she passed away comfortably, peacefully, at home. She will be dearly missed in the hearts of everyone that knew her.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Tony and Margaret Gonzales; and her son Larry Guajardo. She leaves behind to cherish and live in her memory her loving husband of 60 years Loreto Guajardo; her children Loreto Jr. Guajardo, Gloria (Randy) Harrison, Loretta Pratt, Joe (Brenda) Guajardo, and Nita (Shane) Rice; Danny, Alice, Rachel, Johnny Ray, David, Rosemary and other siblings; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; her fur babies Precious and Lucy; and friends.
