Thomas William Russell was born on November 15, 1951, in Huntington Park, California to Margaret and Jack Russell. He had an older brother, James and younger brother, Johnny.
Although he loved his family, he found a kindred spirit in his best friend, Lyle Williams, and a special bond with our family. At the age of eleven, ‘Russ’ as we called him, came to live with the Williams family and our lives were forever changed by the fun-loving duo.
As an adult he was a private person. Those who knew him found a gentle soul with a warm sense of humor and a true friend who was always willing to help. Thomas made his career at Catalina Pacific servicing heavy concrete mixing equipment and training and supervising mechanics until his retirement in 2007. He loved computers, electronic equipment, motorcycle riding, exploring the wilderness in his motorhome with Millicent ‘Mom’ Williams, and his big, blue-and-gold macaw, Roger.
Thomas Russell passed away on February 11, 2019 at the age of 67. He is survived by his sister, Donna Ethington and niece, Christina Smith.
