March 2, 1930 - February 26, 2021

On March 2, 1930 in Anadarko, Oklahoma, Thomas Robert Yarnall was born to (Finley) Roy and Ruth Yarnall and passed away on the morning of February 26, 2021 at the age of almost 91.  

Thomas was predeceased by his mother and father, one sister, Betty Ruth and two brothers, Leon and Dean.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Betty Jo, his 3 children, Deborah, Stephen (Pami) and Donald (Ellen), 4 grandchildren Michael (Brandon), Rebecca (Tyler), Thomas (Matthew) and Kristen (Noah) and 6 great-grandchildren Taytum, Tanner, Tucker, Teagan, Stevie Jo and Noah.

Tom and Betty Jo celebrated their incredible 70th Wedding Anniversary on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, just days before his passing.

Tom was a Navy veteran and served during the Korean War.  He went on to graduate from USC with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He was a very proud Trojan and loved watching them play football.  He worked at Hewlett Packard and retired after 32 years at age 56.

During his lifetime he bred, raised, trained and raced quarter horses. He loved family camping trips and fishing at Rock Creek in the High Sierras and at the river in Parker, Arizona. They loved traveling the United States in the motorhome and taking cruises to far away places like Alaska, the Panama Canal and the Caribbean.

Tom truly had an amazing life and touched many through his kind and generous heart.  He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.
