Virgilio Hernandez

On April 9, 2022, at the age of 94, our dear dad, Virgilio Hernandez, lovingly called
“Virgil” by his family and close friends, peacefully passed away. He was at his home
in Perris, CA, surrounded by his loving wife Elizabeth and his children.
Virgilio was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, on November 17, 1927. He was a Korean
War veteran and served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1957, with an
honorable discharge.
Virgilio was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather
and great-great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his six children
Nydia, Vilma, Virgil, Nancy, Billy, and Maria, nine grandchildren, nine
great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. He is also survived by a few
siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will take place at Lake Perris Seventh-day Adventist Church,
380 W 3rd Street, Perris, CA 92570.
