Warren “Finney” Peck Sr. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended local school, graduating in the 1960s. He was a retired welder, truck driver, and life-long Southern California area resident. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed traveling cross country, playing spades and eating Sunday dinners. He lived a fulfilling life as a brother, husband, a father and friend.
He attended The Men and Women on the Move Church and was active with his son’s various football leagues. He married Dianne Harris Peck on December 27, 1978 in New Orleans, LA.
He is survived by his daughter Veronica Peck Myers, his sons Warren Peck Jr., Brian Peck, Ellis Cropper, his daughter Tonya Cropper, his son Aaron Peck and his Goddaughter Tasha Anika Weatherspoon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rose Marie Stubberfield, Therron Peck*, Jessica Peck-Green, Nakia Peck, William Joel Peck, Morgan Thompson, Raymond Tariq Cropper, Gregg Reggie Stubberfield, Diondra Peck, Jamal Peck, Jonathan Hunter Peck, Sydney Ashonti Peck, Amanda DaCari Peck, Latisha Rose Cropper, Kaelynn Navaeh Peck, and Demarco Malan Peck. He was preceded in death by his parents, Seymore Peck and Rosie Wade Peck Nelson. He is also survived by his sister Norma Jean Maize. He is preceded by his brother Johnny Lee Wade and sisters Lilly Peck and Rosemary Snow. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with as well as those he reached, but never met.
