Wayne Philip Gunter was born on June 25, 1959, in Pasadena California, to Philip and Barbara Gunter.
He is survived by Joyce, his dedicated and loving wife of 23 years, his brothers and sisters-in-law Mike and Charlene Gunter, Geoff and Cindy Gunter, nephew Cody Gunter, niece Courtney Gunter, sons Chad Gunter and his greater half Shi-Anne, Justin and wife Vanessa, Bryce and wife Sami, step-children Colleen Youngman and husband Nathan Youngman, Matthew Niverson, and combined grandchildren Tristen, Brielle, Sutton, Bodie, Richard and Katie. He is preceded in death by his parents Philip and Barbara Gunter.
Wayne lived a wonderful life and touched the lives of so many; more than he will ever know! Everywhere he went he made new friends that often turned into life long friendships. The man never turned down a request for help from anyone, even on his busiest days. He always had a kind word for those of us blessed to hear it, a silly little joke, or electrical words of wisdom! He loved life and it showed in all he did! He loved playing his many guitars, and building them as well! Fishing was another must, along with horseback riding, shooting indoor targets, and hunting, especially with his sons and nephews! He was a dedicated son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. There are absolutely no words to describe how much sadness is in our world right now. Even though, thankfully, Wayne is no longer hurting, the pain is deeply felt by those of us left behind. We will never, ever, forget him. I know we have a long road ahead.
