Papa,
I'm glad I got to be with you a few days before you passed on Father's Day and say I love you one last time. I'm also glad I was with you in your final moments to say a proper goodbye and witness the true love between you and grandma. You were always there for us and especially for grandma and I know you will continue to be with us always as our Guardian Angel. I love you papa, goodbye.

Dear Joan,
Thank you for posting all these wonderful snapshots of Art and family. It's wonderful to see your kids growing up and remember being a guest of your family many years ago. Sending love and condolences to you on behalf of my family, Jackie Seymour Pritchard.

Dad,
Thank you for introducing me to Van Halen and other loud rock n' roll bands. I know we both enjoyed heavy metal music played at all times while I raced my Camaro around Houston Street. (beating Mark's VW ! ) hahahaha.

One of the best sentences you were able to say after learning to speak again from Cancer. " Turn that damn crap down !" Must have been a Journey song.

I appreciate you always being there for me, having a great sense of humor, and always having a cold coors light waiting for me in your fridge. I enjoyed sharing our last beer together the day before Fathers Day at your home at your Father's Day Party, I remember you saying that our Patriots are the current champions once again and that as long as they let them deflate the balls, we shall remain the champions in the future.

That day,our last words together were " Happy Fathers Day", you said "thank you, goodbye, and drive safe". Myself and Patti called you the next day Sunday, Fathers Day, to wish you a Happy Fathers Day on Fathers Day, we talked a little bit, you said you were having a good day. We said "Happy Fathers Day", You said "thank you and goodbye". Now, those were great last words together !!!

33 years ago, you had Throat cancer surgery, quit smoking that day, and continued to work and support your family for 33 more years. You never let cancer beat you. You are one tough S.O.B. !!!

Thanks for being my dad. You will truly be missed.

Dear Mr C. / Art,
Thank you for being such a great guy and influence. Thank you for being a true neighbor to my Grandfather and Grandmother, then to us. I have so many memories of your smile and your laugh.
Breaking up fights with the water hose.
Giving Jimmy a hard time when the Roadrunner was in your garage. Then on to Mark and his VW.
I remember being scared for you when diagnosed with throat cancer. I remember you surviving throat surgery. I remember the little vibrating voicebox that you yourself laughed at it as you belched out.
" Haha, listen to this piece of S*&t"
The amazing thing is you survived another 33 plus years and learned to talk without that little box. Best of all. You kept the Boston accent. As Kim Camber stated. We / I will carry your memory for as long as I have one!
God Bless you Sir. The Payne, Hannum
Families will forever Love You and consider the CAMBERS our FAMILY.
