I remember when Jill first arrived at SBA. She was very quiet and just sat back and took everything in. After a while she was into everything about the office and the programs. She had a very contagious laugh, which made me laugh! She liked that I didn't let her get away with not doing her Time and Attendance correctly. She was a force to be reckoned with that's for sure. I felt bad when I retired, because she tried to do everything she could to keep me from retiring. She told me the Office will never be the same without you! Jill was a very "Special" person and she will be missed greatly. The office will never ever be the same without her. Rest in Peace Jill...no more suffering from pain now! God Bless!

Message from Greg Bowcott, SCORE San Diego

When I first met Jill at the SBA office shortly after her arrival, I was immediately impressed by her energy and passion for her mission. She said so many complimentary things about SCORE over the years and warmly welcomed our new members during orientation. She was always upbeat, helpful and a joy to be around. My condolences to her family and close friends.

This is to let you know she was a wonderful person to work with. She had the professional style and was always thoughtful enough to include your feelings in her decision. She was more than a mere worker. She will always be my friend. You will be missed.

Jill was a great friend to our small business community and especially helpful – a very unsung hero, in fact – in the start-up and innovation community. Her diligence and thoughtfulness will be missed.

To my friend Jill, I'll remember our years together in the Peace Corps and after. I remember how you always had time for a friend, a smile and a helping hand. I remember the funny things you used to say and do and all the wonderful time we shared too. I'll remember from day to day and I just want to say, thanks for all you've done and for being my friend. You will be missed and always loved.
