I lived on the McIntyre farm and went to school to the 8th grade at Pleasant View
8 miles east of Jasper, Missouri.
Went to high school in Golden City, Missouri.
1947 enlisted in U.S. Army. Was stationed at Fort Riley Kansas and Seattle, Washington.
Got out of army in 1949.
Married 1948 to Betty. We had 3 son’s / Jerry, Ricky and Kerry
We were married for 30 years which ended in divorce in 1980.
I married June Couden and she had two sons Mark and Mike Couden.
I was married to June for 29 years. I loved her dearly and she passed away on July 20th 2008.
Per her request she was cremated.
She was secretary and helper all 29 years.
In McIntyre and Sons Construction Company we were carpenter and concrete workers.
June and I lived and work in Orange, Ca. for McIntyre and Sons Construction Company
Approximately 5 years then moved to Norco, Ca. where we continued the business for approximately 4 years. Then sold property in Norco and moved to Canyon Lake, Ca.
Various jobs I had in my lifetime of 80 years.
Farmer, U.S. Army, Sales, Baker, Milkman, Chevrolet truck assembly line, Welder steel Co.
Westinghouse (built jet engines) , Bendix Corp. (worked on atomic bomb) , Storm windows
For houses,
Carpenter- rebuilt houses damaged by tornado in Kansas City. Continued carpentry in 1963.
I moved to Fullerton, Ca. to avoid fierce winters in Kansas City, Mo.

Note: 2010 is coming up and I’m a short time. I’m going to celebrate the new year with family and special friends.
Will continue this after Christmas and New Years.
