Nancy Isabel Tyacke
September 16, 1963 ~ February 4, 2017 (age 53) 53 Years OldShare Tribute:
Nancy Tyacke passed away from this life on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Sun City, CA after a yearlong struggle with cancer. She was surrounded and comforted by her loving family, close friends, and caregivers during her final days.
Nancy was born on September 16, 1963 in Bogota, Colombia. As a very young child she immigrated to the United States with her parents and upon reaching adulthood became a naturalized U.S. citizen. After graduating from Gateway High School in Aurora, CO, she met and later wed Scott Tyacke, with whom she was married for almost 17 years. During the course of her early to mid-adult years, she lived “many lives” - An art student in Colorado; a Southern California adventurer, eagerly exploring everything this land had to offer that she couldn’t find back in the Rocky Mountain State; a support staffer and team member of the Escondido Fire Department; a Community Service Officer in the Escondido Police Department; a security officer contracted across the world in Kazakhstan; and finally, a Community Service Officer for the Hemet Police Department where she remained for over 16 years.
Nancy was a beautiful soul to all that really knew her and the smiles and laughter she shared were a pure treasure. She was intelligent, creative, fierce, independent, loyal, contemplative, joyfully irreverent, complex, protective and so infinitely much more. Her loss is an immeasurable one to those that had the honor to know who she was and to have had her in their life.
Nancy is survived by her mother, Lilia Lopez of Sun City, CA, whom she shared a residence with; her sister, Isabel Graczyk of San Marcos, CA; her two brothers, Alvaro Lopez of Riverside, CA and Fernando Lopez of San Diego, CA; and her 3 cats, Shabobbi, Twinkie and Scooter, whom she loved and cared for as if they were her own children.
