Sally Ortega Dansak

Sally Ortega Dansak was called home to be with the lord on Monday April 17, 2017 after losing her battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at her home in Menifee, California, she was 84 years old. Sally was born in Compton, California on November 15 1932. To parents Trinidad Ortega and Senaida Valdez she was the third of ten children and a lifelong resident of Southern California Sally was best known for her strong work ethic, she worked hard for the majority of her life. Her greatest job was being a devoted mother to her four children and a loving grandmother to all of her grandchildren. She will be most remembered for her phenomenal cooking, her immaculate home, and her beautiful garden. Sally was a devout catholic and lived her life led by her faith. 

She is proceeded in death by  parents Trinidad and Senaida, sister Cecilia "Chila" Perales, brothers Pasqual "Calo" Ortega, Cruz Ortega, and  Mike Ortega, son Donnie Robles, daughter Alice Thompson, as well as many other beloved family members.

 She is survived by sisters Linda Ahumada, Mary "Mena" Munoz, Christina "Toti" Preciado, brothers Trinidad "Trino" Ortega, Macario "Mac" Ortega, daughter Cynthia "Cindi" Robles, son and daughter in-law Albert "Albie" and Sue Robles, grandchildren Carrie Thompson, Amy Thompson, Rachel Nowitski, Maryssa "Sunshine" and Mario Vega Jr., Alexander "Papalao" Bolaños, Andrew "babylao" Bolaños, Cecilia "Cece" Bolaños, Vincent "Vinny" White, Aaron Thompson, and Patrick "PJ" Gonzalez, Meleah Bolaños and Mario "Peanut" Vega III, as well many close family members.

Her life will be celebrated in a memorial service to be held on Saturday April 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM @ Casa Blanca Villa Community Center, 28135 Calle Vallarta, Menifee, California 92585
